Job summary

Doane Grant Thornton is seeking an Accountant, Privately Held Business Group for New Grad TERM in Terrace, BC. You’ll provide accounting services, including planning and executing review and compilation engagements, drafting financial statements, bookkeeping and payroll and GST calculations.

You’ll develop deep client relationships across industries, support CRA requests, and contribute to the firm’s growth. You’re pursuing your post-secondary degree and CPA prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Accounting knowledge relevant to general ledger and financial statements.
• Strong client service mindset and ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and handle multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting services including planning and executing review and compilation engagements.
• Draft financial statements and perform financial analysis and bookkeeping.
• Assist with payroll and GST calculations and respond to CRA requests.
