Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Junior or Senior Accountant to oversee and manage financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and can work both independently and as part of a team..

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Maintain general ledger and reconcile accounts
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and international accounting regulations
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial professionals
  • Implement and monitor internal controls and accounting procedures
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior accounting staff
  • Communicate effectively with Dutch-speaking clients and stakeholders (Dutch language skills a plus)

Requirements :

  • Must have Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred)
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship
  • Must be currently living within a 50 mile radius of Dublin, ON or able to reliably commute
  • Must have a minimum of 1-2+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check in accordance with local law and regulations
  • Dutch language proficiency is a plus, but not a requirement
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP / IFRS)
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite)
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be motivated and a self starter
