  • Analyzes account transactions and reclassifies entries as needed.
  • Prepares bank and general ledger account reconciliations.

This position works under general supervision; processes various financial documents and data; performs and ensures the accuracy of bank and other general ledger account reconciliations; analyzes data, contributes to the preparation of financial reports, ensures compliance with accounting standards and laws, and performs related and other duties as assigned.

  • Salary Range* - 66k - 83k

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Prepares various financial balance sheet, income statements, and various other management and/or operational reports
  • Analyzes account transactions and make appropriate reclassifying entries as needed
  • Prepare bank and general ledger account reconciliations
  • May supervise lower-level employees
  • Respond to inquiries regarding financial transactions, reviews accounts for errors and discrepancies
  • Analyze trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments to predict future performance
  • Recommend improvements or modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university or college
  • Other related business degrees with a focus on accounting, coupled with direct accounting experience, may be considered.
  • Minimum of four (4) years in general ledger accounting. Additional education may be substituted for some experience. Proficiency in the use of software applications, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing software required.

  • Experience in multi-module ERP financial accounting software
