Well, what about the team?

As an Accountant with a focus on gross profit, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for managing areas of financial records, assist with preparation of financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will help us maintain accurate financial reporting and support our business operations. You will report directly to the Director of Accounting as part of a wider Accounting team.

So, what will you be doing?
  • Managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes for accurate financial information.
  • Preparing month-end journals for multiple entities with supporting documentation.
  • Ensuring appropriate allocation methodology for gross profit attribution across segments, markets, and business verticals.
  • Operating in a rigorous internal controls environment and recommending process improvements.
  • Performing monthly account reconciliations and analysis.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Supporting the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Collaborating with various departments for accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Participating in cross-training and performing ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.
And what are we looking for?
  • Possess a Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Be working towards or holding CPA designation or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate a solid foundation of experience in accounting.
  • Showcase extensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Be proficient in accounting software (Oracle or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
