Job summary

Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. in Longueuil seeks a finance professional to manage the full accounting cycle for hydro, wind and solar projects and corporate entities.

You will report to the Manager - Accounting, work in a shared services setting, and contribute to timely and accurate financial reporting. Fluent in French and English, you will record journal entries, reconcile ledgers, and prepare monthly analyses while supporting audits and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with the full accounting cycle.
• Fluency in French and English (oral/written) required.
• Proficiency with general software (Great Plains, Acrobat).
• Experience with multiple currencies is an asset.
• Experience in a public company is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform the complete accounting cycle for projects and low-complexity entities.
• Record journal entries and reconcile ledgers, handle bank reconciliations and tax remittances.
• Record inter-company transactions.
• Account for fixed assets and depreciation.
• Prepare monthly analyses.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Assist in annual audit file preparation.
• Ensure internal controls compliance.
• Contribute to process improvements.
• Analyze financial statement items and support corrections.
• Support special mandates as required.
