Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Accountant to manage full cycle accounting, prepare reporting packages, and complete reconciliations. You will analyze assets, liabilities and equity, reconcile bank and intercompany accounts, and support monthly closes for internal and external reporting.

The role requires 1–2 years accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Business Administration or Finance, and CPA designation or progress toward.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field.
• CPA designation or progress toward designation preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office; AS400 knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries and reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet and intercompany accounts; investigate discrepancies.
• Consolidate intercompany transactions and settle intercompany accounts monthly.
• Ensure compliance with Sysco policies, SOX and related accounting standards.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
