Job summary

A leading agricultural company located in Canada is seeking an experienced individual for asset management activities. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, preparing reconciliations, and supporting branches with fixed asset management. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of IFRS and relevant software. This is an on-site role offering a chance to contribute to impactful projects.

This role is required to be on-site.

What you will do

• Collaborate with related stakeholders and perform asset management activities (additions, retirements, and transfers) timely, completely, and accurately in multiple ERP systems.
• Prepare fixed asset continuities and GL reconciliations.
• Perform routine and non-routine journal entries in multiple ERP systems.
• Prepare fixed assets reporting for various stakeholders, including internal and external auditors, planning and forecasting, tax department, and others.
• Support Retail branches in the fixed assets management process.
• Comprehend and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Engage in project activities and perform ad hoc tasks.
• Contribute to the process enhancement initiatives.

What you will bring

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from a recognized institution.
• CPA designation is preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant business experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS.
• Working knowledge in PSFT and SAP S4 HANA.
• Expertise in Fixed Assets Accounting is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
