This role is required to be on-site.

What you will do:
  • Perform routine and non-routine journal entries in multiple ERP systems.
  • Prepare fixed assets reporting for various stakeholders, including internal and external auditors, planning and forecasting, tax department, and others.
  • Analyze monthly fixed asset transactions (additions, retirements, impairments etc…).
  • Assist in reconciling the asset management system to the general ledger system.
  • Work with the business to set-up fixed assets for new locations.
  • Assist with completion of monthly and quarterly reporting from corporate, external and internal auditors, and the tax department.
  • Create, Review, and post journal entries during monthly close process as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members and departments to find efficiencies in processes.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Review Authority for Expenditure (AFE) projects for policy conformity.
  • Troubleshoot issues and work with plant Finance to resolve.
What you will bring:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant business experience is required.
  • CPA designation, or working towards.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS.
  • Oracle experience is desired.
  • Fixed Asset experience is preferred.
  • SAP ECC and SAP S4 experience is an asset.
  • Highly detail oriented.
  • Self-Motivated and able to prioritize and work well with competing deadlines.
  • Mature attitude and ability to deal effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
