Job summary

Surepoint in Nisku, AB is seeking a sharp Accountant to join our finance team. You will handle reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting while supporting process improvements.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance with 5+ years experience; CPA designation is highly preferred and proficiency in MS Dynamics Great Plains, Solver, and Excel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance with at least 5 years of accounting experience.
• CPA designation is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Participate in month-end and year-end close including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with attention to internal controls.
• Prepare and file sales and franchise tax returns.
