Job summary

MacDonald Search Group in Calgary is seeking an Accountant to join a growing team. This hands-on role is suited to an accounting professional with 3+ years of progressive experience who enjoys a fast-paced environment and improving processes and systems.

You will manage month-end close and related reporting, support AP/AR and high-volume transactions, and contribute to process improvements across the finance function. The position offers growth opportunities and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Experience with GL accounting, reconciliations and month-end close
• CPA studies or designation is an asset
• Retail experience is an asset
