Our client, a leading tech company, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Accountant to join their accounting team! This is a three to five month contract opportunity with the potential to extend. The Accountant will provide crucial support during a period of significant growth and process improvement. This role is a critical bridge to help the company navigate day-to-day operations, month-end close, and prepare for the 2025 audit. You will play a key role in maintaining financial clarity and supporting the accounting team during a pivotal time.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bank reconciliations, prepaid management, and capital expenditure related tasks.
  • Execute mid-month journal entries for prepaids and ensure all necessary schedules are attached.
  • Maintain accurate sub-ledger accounts.
  • Provide comprehensive audit support by pulling and preparing information for the 2025 audit.
  • Assist with month-end close responsibilities, integrating into a four-day close cycle.

Qualifications:

  • Available to start immediately
  • 3+ years of similar experience in a medium to large sized company
  • Ability to hit the ground running
  • Netsuite experience considered an asset
