This accounting role is a pivotal and dynamic position responsible for supporting the Controller and VP of Finance in various financial tasks. They seek a collaborative problem solver capable of supporting operational initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of journal entries.
  • Prepare detailed general ledger account reconciliations and support financial analysis for accurate year-end reporting.
  • Serve as the primary financial liaison for logistics, managing vendor relationships, reviewing invoices, and approving freight invoices.
  • Collaborate with the supply planning department on urgent daily tasks.
  • Manage miscellaneous accounts payable and receivable tasks and serve as a backup for administrative functions.
  • Assist the Controller with high-impact projects, including KPI planning and strategic tasks.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an accounting role.
  • Proven experience in financial modeling and logistics analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
