Job Description

Summary of Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Manage Mutual Fund (MF) Operations, Settlements, and the Trading Support team daily.
  • Process transactions accurately according to guidelines and SLAs; provide process and policy guidance.
  • Apply knowledge of Fundserv, ISM, Prime OE, and ISD400 (advanced).
  • Maintain high service standards, support customers and partners, resolve operational issues, and escalate when necessary.
  • Ensure document accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Build positive relationships with clients and partners.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Cross-train and learn additional functions within the team.
  • Support team during absences and own issue resolution.
  • Contribute to process improvements and documentation.
  • Assist in testing and implementing new processes and technology.
  • Review and update procedures regularly.
  • Drive continuous improvement in mutual fund settlement processes.
  • Share knowledge and promote strong team relationships.
  • Represent the team internally and externally.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and data literacy.
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Quick learner, multitasker, adaptable.
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience (accounting, finance, customer service).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or IFIC Course.
  • Experience in banking operations and financial services.
  • Strong computer skills and tech-savviness.
  • Knowledge of Wealth Operations, ISM Book of Record, Prime base / SMS, Prime OE, and Fundserv interactions.
  • Understanding of Mutual Funds and Brokerage Environments.
