The Opportunity :

Our client, a dynamic and fast growing company, is seeking an Accountant to join the team. This role is crucial role to the financial operations of the organization by assisting in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. This position reports to the Finance & Accounting Manager and involves collaborating with the finance team to ensure the timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, and supporting various accounting activities. The Accountant's primary responsibilities include journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting in the preparation of financial reports, and contributing to the overall accuracy and integrity of the organization's financial information.

What You Will Be Doing :

  • Perform full-cycle accounting tasks, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
  • Manage accounts receivable (A / R) processes, including invoice preparation, collections, and bank deposit preparation
  • Oversee full-cycle bookkeeping, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions
  • Prepare and summarize expense reports, ensuring compliance with internal policies
  • Assist with the month-end close process, reconciling accounts and preparing reports
  • Support external audit preparation and provide necessary documentation
  • Contribute to improving the efficiency of financial processes, including enhancements to the month-end close cycle
  • Collaborate with the finance team to maintain the integrity of financial data and ensure regulatory compliance

What We Need From You :

  • University degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • CPA designation (or actively working toward completion)
  • 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Proficiency in full-cycle accounting (journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations) and month-end close
  • Experience preparing and summarizing expense reports and bank deposits
  • Experience with full-cycle bookkeeping and accounts receivable processes
  • Familiarity with external audit preparation
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting (NetSuite experience an asset)
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
