Job summary

Enterprise Mobility in Surrey, BC is seeking an Accountant to begin with foundational accounting tasks such as payable/receivable, financial statement preparation and analysis. You’ll help balance the marketing and operational sides of the business and support a growth-focused team.

You’ll gain exposure to cross-functional collaboration, advance toward a supervisory role, and participate in a development program with CPA designation reimbursement. Local all-hands present in Surrey office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a Canadian University or international equivalent as recognized by WES/IRCC
• 6 months cumulative experience or involvement in sales & customer service or leadership
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with up to two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years; no DUI/DWI in past 5 years

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic accounting procedures including accounts payable/receivable systems and financial statement preparation and analysis
• Collaborate with sales/marketing/HR/procurement to improve customer service, growth, efficiencies and profitability
• Progress into supervisory responsibilities within a business management team

This position is based out of our Surrey Administrative Office located at 13160 88 Ave, Surrey BC V3W 3K3. The rate of pay for this role is $30.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Starting as an Accountant, you will be exposed to basic accounting procedures and principles ranging from accounts payable and receivable systems to financial statement, preparation, and analysis.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have 6 months cumulative experience or involvement in any of the following:
  • Sales & Customer Service: commission sales, retail, restaurant, or hospitality industry
  • Leadership: military, athletics/team activities, clubs/organizations
• Must have a 4-year bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited Canadian University or an international equivalent as recognized by the World Education Services (WES) and/or Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
• Must have intermediary proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license, with no more than two moving violations and/or at fault accidents on driving record in the past three years.

• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record (DUI/DWI) within the past5 years.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
