Position Summary

Acuren is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Canada team! The Accountant will support the accounting functions of all entities.

This is an in-office role based in Sherwood Park, Alberta.

Responsibilities

• Posting journal entries
• Bank reconciliations
• Reconciliation of intercompany accounts
• Reconciliation of the per diem program
• Accounts payable support
• Manage credit card program
• Monthly preparation of financial reports as needed

Requirements

• University or post-secondary degree or diploma with a focus on Accounting
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel
• Resourceful with strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of accounting systems; experience with SAGE is a plus
• Detail-oriented
