We are seeking a full-time, on-site Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our team in Montreal, QC. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts receivable / payable, payroll, financial reporting, and account reconciliations. The role also includes supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, as well as providing financial analysis to assist senior management.

Bilingualism in French and English is required, as the role involves both written and spoken communication with international clients.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proven experience with bookkeeping, accounts receivable / payable, and payroll
• Proficiency in financial software and spreadsheet tools
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare meaningful reports
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience
• CPA or other relevant certifications are an asset
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is considered a strong advantage
