About the Job:
Reporting into the Accounting and Finance Manager, this role plays an important part in the day-to-day accounting operations of this busy organization, and will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare financial reports and analyze budget variances.
2. Develop cash flow forecasts and ensure ASPE compliance.
3. Collaborate on budgeting and financial analysis.
4. Reconcile GL accounts, post journal entries, and support audits.
5. Work with Operations on inventory reconciliations.
6. Ensure compliance with policies and accounting standards.
7. Conduct financial analysis and manage ad hoc projects.
8. Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve processes.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Working towards CPA designation
• Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills
• Expert knowledge of Excel and ERP systems
