Accountant

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Corporate Accountant will support accounting functions across the Hall Group of Companies, with a focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and monthly reporting. The role requires strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Perform bank reconciliations for multiple Hall Group of Companies.
2. Manage billings and collections across business units (accounts receivable).
3. Reconcile monthly credit card statements (accounts payable).
4. Process and reconcile inter-company invoices across operating entities.
5. Assist with monthly reporting, audit preparation, and administrative support as needed.

Technical Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes and reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Demonstrated work ethic and team collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving ability; proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
• Excellent time management and responsiveness.
• Highly detail-oriented and analytical.

Qualifications:

• Education: Accounting Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Experience in the construction industry is an asset.
