Job Summary

Job Description

The Account Service Representative is responsible for processing routine data entry and online input of transactions using a basic understanding of products and processes. Activities may also involve balancing transactions and deposits received from clients and branches, with an emphasis on throughput, accuracy, and productivity.

Work Schedule: Day Shift – Monday to Friday, available from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. On-site work required 100% of the time, with a maximum of 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent service to partners (Business Deposit, Cash Supply, ATM, BMO), respecting department deadlines for shipping/receiving parcels and preparing deposits.
  • Cross-train in adjoining departments (CP, BD, BPS, ATM).
  • Examine documents for completeness and accuracy, escalating discrepancies as needed.
  • Identify and recommend solutions to recurring errors and servicing gaps to the Team Leader or ACC Liaison Officer.
  • Manage workload to meet established benchmarks, contributing to achieving business SLAs/KPIs.
  • Follow operational risk policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines diligently.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Client focus with efficient and accurate data entry skills.
  • Bilingual in English and French, as service will be provided in both languages.
  • Ability to lift parcels weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks quickly.
  • Ability to work within high-volume, strict deadline environments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of products supported by the team, such as Commercial Deposit Processing and Cash Processing.
