Our Sales team serves the critical role of getting our products into the hands of our customers. This talented team works hard to build and maintain relationships with our clients, as well as looks for new business opportunities to expand our reach.

Responsibilities

The Inside Sales role is ideal for the person who is passionate about the full sales cycle, but in particular loves the customer acquisition side. This role is critical to growing and expanding our customer base bringing high impact products to schools nationwide.

In the day to day, you will:

  • Work with existing and new customers to promote new products and services with an emphasis on building new relationships
  • Use a solution oriented approach to sell PowerSchool products to K-12 schools and districts
  • Build and maintain a strong customer pipeline
  • Develop and execute campaigns focused on specific territories and products
  • Leverage activity measurements to work towards key goals
  • Collaborate with other Sales teams
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota
  • Sales abilities to meet or exceed sales targets within an assigned territory by positioning the competitive advantages of PowerSchool.
  • Ability to develop and execute quality business and territory plans
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Proactive in solving customer issues and business challenges
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with sales in a SaaS or education company
  • Experience using Salesforce.com
  • Strong organizational, communication, presentation and time management skills
  • Team player mindset who is also self motivated

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $55,000 - $69,500 USD plus applicable commission. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
