Bronswerk manages the entire process, from design to commissioning, installation and in-service support.

What will be your role?

Reporting to the CFO, the Account Receivable Technician will be responsible for the full account receivable cycle. While working very closely with the Controller, the Account Receivable Technician will provide support to the Project Management team and the Finance team on Canadian and American entities invoicing, cash application as well as other special projects.

  • Generate and send out invoices for the Canadian and the American entities when achieving milestones provided by the Project Managers.
  • Produce and send out monthly progress invoicing (labour, material, travel, etc.) for major turnkey projects.
  • Generate and send time and material invoices to clients after receiving confirmation and validation by the Project Managers.
  • Prepare and send out invoices for all goods shipped upon receipt of confirming e-mail from logistics team.
  • Collect and assemble all necessary documents supporting above invoices.
  • Prepare inter-company invoicing as per transfer pricing policy.
  • Enter data of all incoming funds.
  • Generate the Aged accounts receivable reports on a monthly basis and other project tracking reports.
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Communicate with customers via phone and email.
  • Scan and file all invoicing documents.
  • Support the controller on various analysis, reports and special projects.

Which candidate profile are we looking for?

  • 5 years of experience in accounting, experience with large and complex projects is an asset
  • College Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • Experience using ERP: NAV Vision (an asset)
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
  • Customer-focus
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Resourceful, initiative and sense of responsibility
  • Bilingual oral and written (English and French): frequent communications with North American offices and clients (Canada & USA).
