Responsibilities:

  • Complete assignments safely and professionally.
  • Manage customer relationships within your geographic area.
  • Collaborate with current and new customers to understand their needs and recommend improvements to grow sales.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including plant or facility executives.
  • Generate and execute sales plans to meet profit goals.
  • Provide technical support and resolve customer complaints.
  • Perform system analysis, interpret data, and recommend operational improvements.
  • Support and sell Baker Hughes innovations, including the upstream chemical program.
  • Travel within the assigned sales territory.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all field treatment programs.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education.
  • Minimum of 5 years of field-based oil and gas experience.
  • Professionalism and technical skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Understanding of profit and loss financials.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible rotation schedule (days on / 7 days off).

Desired Characteristics:

  • Basic chemical knowledge is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Understanding of oil and gas process systems.
