Role Summary

As Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of clients’ digital initiatives. This includes defining the strategy and overseeing the execution of social, search and programmatic, aligned with the client’s business objectives.

In this role, you will develop a strong foundation in digital media while helping both your team and your client advance their digital capabilities.

You will play a key role in connecting paid, owned, and earned platforms while demonstrating clear ROI across all digital activities, in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic digital marketing plans aligned with client objectives across search, social, & programmatic.
  • Define audience strategies and campaign plans that exceed client expectations.
  • Present and secure client approval for media plans, insertion orders, and campaign strategies.
  • Oversee account management processes to ensure seamless execution.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and proactive expectation management.
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Track, analyze, and optimize campaign performance to maximize client investment.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly performance reports, ensuring data accuracy and providing meaningful insights.
  • Collaborate closely with media planners and client service teams to identify opportunities for channel expansion and media innovation.
  • Develop expertise across ecommerce, search, social, and display/video, building a reputation for innovation and efficiency.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members.
  • Stay current on digital marketing trends and consumer behaviour to continuously enhance client strategies.

Skills and Behaviour:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in digital media, with hands-on planning and buying across multiple platforms (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Pinterest).
  • Strong account management skills, with experience handling complex digital campaigns.
  • Proven track record in growing client accounts and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of how paid media complements owned and earned strategies to meet business goals.
  • Previous agency experience is highly preferred, including collaboration with media partners and digital publishers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with major paid social platforms (Meta Ads, Pinterest Ads, LinkedIn Ads) and search platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads).
  • Experience with programmatic tools (e.g. DV360, The Trade Desk) are a strong asset.
  • Experience with analytical tools (Google Analytics) and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills.
  • Current Social/Search certifications across key platforms.
