Account Executive – Retail Club Team

Location: Hybrid (Minimum three days/week in Oakville, ON office)

Reports to: Retail Club Business Unit Manager

Compensation: $75,000–$80,000 annually + performance-based bonus + full benefits package

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our Club Team. This role focuses on managing and growing relationships with key club retailers, including Costco, S&R, Pricesmart, Sam’s Club, and BJ’s. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop compelling sales presentations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with club retailers, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups.
  • Sales Presentation Development
    • Develop and present compelling sales presentations that clearly articulate product value and insightful category analysis, effectively engaging buyers and driving informed purchasing decisions.
    • Tailor presentation content to different audiences, ensuring clarity and impact.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to refine visuals, layouts, and messaging.
  • Sales Support & Analytics
    • Generate and analyze sales reports and performance metrics using tools such as Circana / Unify+.
    • Identify trends and opportunities to optimize sales performance.
    • Coordinate the preparation, management, and shipment of sales samples as needed.
  • Project Management
    • Organize and facilitate product launch meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and follow-up tasks.
    • Collaborate with Product Development and Operations teams to monitor project progress and ensure timely execution.
    • Address issues or delays to support successful project outcomes.
  • Market & Competitive Research
    • Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to support sales strategies.
    • Identify growth opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to the sales team.
    Qualifications
    • Previous account managing experience with club retailers (e.g., Costco, S&R, Pricesmart, Sam’s Club, BJ’s) is highly desirable.
    • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, with the ability to create visually compelling presentations.
    • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft concise, persuasive messaging.
    • Highly organized, with strong project management abilities and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams.
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment with shifting priorities.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
