WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

This position directs the development of a comprehensive product marketing cycle, focused on Recreation Products and Experiences.

  • Identifying market potential, establishing pricing and market strategy recommendations, estimating potential sales, introducing market, distribution/channel issues, and managing mature product through phase-out.
  • Defining and executing customer focused market research.
  • Defining promotional activities, publicizing the product through the press, website, media, sales force, and alternate distribution channels.
  • Providing expertise in particular product area and developing strategies.
  • Coordinating program planning with internal clients to ensure identification of appropriate manufacturing schedules, goals, design criteria, costs, and similar considerations.
  • Conducting liaison with product suppliers and negotiating with key suppliers regarding contract terms and conditions.
  • Coordinating details of program within the organization with a wide range of functions and individuals.
  • Coordinating product introduction and market exploitation with marketing and sales organizations to ensure maximum penetration of market segment.
  • Providing continuing product surveillance and management of established product to obtain financial objectives.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • 3-5 yrs Industry experience of Product Marketing within a CPG, Retail or Resort environment
