Account Manager

The Account Manager is responsible for all Unitron sales and serves as the primary contact for the brand within the assigned region. The role involves developing and executing sales and promotional strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. The primary territory for this position is Southwestern Ontario.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve budgeted sales and ASP (average selling price) targets, along with territory planning and reporting.
  • Develop sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Conduct face-to-face training and product demonstrations in clinics as needed.
  • Provide training and support for clinicians and assist patients with troubleshooting both in-clinic and remotely.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers, meeting call volume and interaction goals.
  • Participate in trade shows, seminars, conventions, and customer events.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Unitron products, software, and value-added services.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop strategic initiatives for territory growth.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Unitron.

Travel Requirements: 20% in Ontario

Qualifications:

  • Secondary School diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing preferred.
  • Master's degree in Audiology or Hearing Instruments Specialist diploma is a plus.
  • Experience in medical, technical products, or audiology is advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of B2B sales or account management experience.

Additional Experience:

  • 2+ years in field sales management preferred.
  • Experience in medical device sales and sales funnel management.

Skills:

  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
  • Strong time management and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to influence and persuade others.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to understand audiology technology and willingness to travel frequently overnight.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload) for remote work.
