LockSearch Group is partnering with a leading local 3PL provider seekingto expand their Surrey-based team with a new Account Manager. Thisoffice-based role is focused on driving new business, expandingservice lanes, and uncovering opportunities within an already strongclient portfolio. The bulk of your day will involve directcommunication with existing and potential clients, so freightknowledge and excellent communication skills is a must.

Yourprimary responsibility will be to identify and secure profitable newbusiness opportunities within your territory. Success in this rolewill depend on your ability to make strategic cold calls, assessclient needs, build lasting relationships, and effectively managepriorities to meet and exceed sales targets. If you have a few yearsof sales experience (ideally in supply chain or logistics) this couldbe an excellent next step in your career.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily cold calls toidentify new sales opportunities and generate leads.
  • Build,track, and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Independentlydrive new sales while achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Confidently engage and negotiate with contacts at all levels,including leadership
  • While primarily a hunting role,retention and relationship management of existing clients are alsokey.
  • Leverage both traditional and digital tools to connectwith prospects and current customers.
  • Prepare customerquotes based on profiles, shipment history, and internal pricingresources.
  • Work closely with internal teams on pricing,strategy, and administrative needs.
  • Maintain accuraterecords and updates in Salesforce daily.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of salesexperience, ideally in transportation, logistics, or supply chain.Other industry sales experience will be considered.
  • Musthave strong communications and comfortable interacting with customersover the phone & email
  • Strong understanding of the salesprocess with a proven ability to generate revenue and retaincustomers.
  • Ability to quickly create opportunities throughphone outreach and client engagement.
  • Bachelor’s Degreepreferred but not required
  • Resilient, competitive, andconfident in making cold calls.
  • Quick thinking with strongadaptability to client needs.
  • Experience with Salesforce orsimilar platforms is an asset.
  • Positive, can-do attitudewith a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to multitask in afast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and stay focused in a busy setting.
  • Understanding of tariffs and rating models is a plus.
