Kidscreen is the world’s leading B2B brand for everything that keeps kids entertained. We are looking for a full-time Account Manager to work on our market-leading business publications and industry events that serve the needs and interests of kids entertainment executives worldwide.

Our quarterly Kidscreen magazine provides comprehensive insights into the latest news, trendsand opportunities shaping the business. With a cross-disciplinary approach, we stand out in thetrade publishing space, reflecting the many sectors that inter-connect to make up the global kids entertainment industry.

We publish a Kidscreen Daily newsletter that drives traffic to our website, and we produce a flagship annual event called Kidscreen Summit that attracts more than 2,000 industry leaders for four days of business networking and professional development.

Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of previous sales experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and conversation
  • Aptitude for building client relationships
  • Excellent multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills
  • Positive attitude, collaborative spirit and a self-starter mentality
  • Interest in partnering with major entertainment companies
  • Creative problem-solving skills and an initiative-driven mindset
  • Proficiency with Google Suite
  • Knowledge of the international TV and / or animation industry is a plus

Experience :

  • Demonstrated success in selling digital and / or print advertising
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and deliver results
  • Achieve or surpass revenue targets for print, online, and event sponsorship sales
  • Manage accounts and increase sales by nurturing client relationships

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of our brand and industry trends

Educational Requirements :

  • University degree, College diploma or equivalent experience in sales or related field

Compensation :

  • Competitive salary base plus commission

Kidscreen’s year revolves around a calendar of key industry events and markets that are held all over the world. It’s essential that our team has a presence at them, therefore Account Manager applicants must have a valid passport, be willing and able to travel freely to Europe and the US, and enjoy the prospect of doing so.

This is a full-time position at a world-leading business publication and events company in downtown Toronto. Brunico Communications operates on a hybrid in-office / work-from-home schedule, and our Account Manager will be required to work in-office two days a week.
