Your Impact at PLATFORM
The successful candidate will assist our Construction Industry Group with various tasks. We seek professionals eager to join an exciting, fast-paced environment with a strong learning culture and a focus on development.
- Ensure day-to-day service requests (certificates, changes, etc.) are handled promptly in coordination with the account service team.
- Prepare tender slips, conduct contract reviews with relevant commentary, ensure insurance program compliance, and advise on risks / exposures.
- Work with insurers to provide indicative pricing for project-specific or outside coverage.
- Approach relevant markets timely at renewal (120-90 days prior), coordinate renewal options, and present to clients 30 days before renewal.
- Maintain 100% compliance with PLATFORM procedures, with no errors or omissions.
- Act as the primary client relationship manager in coordination with the account service team.
- Provide excellent customer service and advisory for your assigned book of business.
- Meet clients in person independently or with senior management, aiming for positive feedback.
- Design insurance strategies and offer creative, alternative solutions aligned with client objectives.
- Ensure premium finance terms are furnished with every quote and that payment schedules are understood by clients.
- Prepare insurance submissions, conduct market meetings, and negotiate with support from the account service team.
- Develop strong relationships with markets and analyze current risk transfer programs.
- Monitor market changes and advise clients to enhance their understanding of risks.
Education, Experience & Qualifications
3+ years of Construction or Real Estate Insurance experience.Post-secondary education or equivalent.RIBO License.Knowledge of Applied Systems EPIC Broker Management System is preferred.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Additional Details
