As part of the Commercial Banking team, the Account Manager serves as the bank's representative in their market, handling credit and non-credit services, often with non-borrowing clients. Supported by a Manager Commercial Credit, the role involves structuring and managing financial solutions tailored to client needs.
The Account Manager acts as a trusted advisor, understanding client environments to structure practical, competitive financing and cash management solutions. Responsibilities include credit structuring, risk assessment, due diligence, pricing, credit reviews, and risk ratings. Business development involves maintaining and expanding client relationships, cross-selling financial products, and engaging with external referral sources and community activities.
Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in business or relevant professional designation, with 2-3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or Account Manager in banking. Alternatively, experience in supporting business needs in other professions is also valued. Strong analytical, relationship management, and business development skills are essential, with a desire to further develop these skills in this role.
