Account Manager I / II

Full‑time, permanent role located in Vancouver. Reports to the Assistant Branch Manager. Provide trusted, relationship‑based financial advice to members.

Responsibilities
  • Provide culturally respectful, high‑touch service aligned with Indigenous values.
  • Provide comprehensive, relationship‑based financial advice to assigned and unassigned members.
  • Build and maintain member portfolios through needs‑based conversations and best‑advice solutions.
  • Identify member needs and recommend appropriate products and services (lending, mortgages, deposits).
  • Recognize opportunities and make referrals to specialized teams (Wealth Management, Wealth Protection, Business Banking).
  • Meet performance objectives contributing to branch and organizational profitability.
  • Apply service standards, policies, procedures, and controls to meet compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Support a positive, professional, and welcoming member experience.
Qualifications

Account Manager I

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of Fundamentals of Personal Financial Planning or Financial Planning 1 and CUIC 210.
  • Minimum 1 year of member service experience in the financial industry.
  • Experience engaging members in needs‑based financial conversations.
  • Knowledge of personal banking products and services.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.

Account Manager II

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an Account Manager role.
  • Completion of Fundamentals of Personal Financial Planning or Financial Planning 1 plus two CFP core curriculum courses.
  • Completion of IFC, CIFC, or CSC investments coursework.
  • Minimum 3 years of member service experience in the financial industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage member portfolios and provide complex financial advice.
Extra Skills That Set You Apart

Compensation & Benefits

This role offers a salary range of $38.32 to $42.65 per hour, with potential adjustments based on qualifications, skills, and experience. Employees may be eligible for an annual incentive program subject to eligibility requirements.
