What you´ll do
- Achieve monthly sales targets, including quantitative and qualitative targets and benchmarks.
- Management of existing salon customers and finding new customer acquisitions with a set territory.
- Promote and sell-in of new product innovations, bi-monthly promotions, and educational offers.
- Execution of customer agreements and Loyalty programs.
- Taking stock & order, upselling, and increasing share of wallet.
- Work-with Education Manager on developing education plans to support territory plan.
- Sell Education events: shows and hands-on cutting, colouring, and styling classes
- To actively prospect for new business as agreed upon with RSM
- To sell products & services according to commercial conditions and considering each brand positioning
- To attend and support all related customers’ needs to assure successful development of all brands
- Supplement customer sales calls with the use of Salonory (eB2B) to increase overall sales.
- Administrative tasks: o Adhere to a daily sales route plan focused 8 customer calls per day and 2 NCA calls.
- Daily use of required applications on eESF as outlined by the business.
- Customer data setup and account maintenance ie. contact details, payment terms, etc.
- Conduct quarterly sale performance review meetings with salon customer.
- Monthly detailing with Regional Education Manager.
- Attend bi-monthly sales meeting in office and monthly virtual sales connects.
What makes you a good fit
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in calling on accounts and following a route plan (Territory Downtown Toronto).
- Valid drivers license.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong communication skills (presentation and written).
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other functional groups such as Marketing and Education
- Proficient in relevant technologies, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
