About the Role

Account Manager for Indirect Business. As the Account Manager for Indirect Business, you will be responsible for driving and developing our business in the USA, Canada, LATAM, and South America via all Canon organizations in America. Based on a well-established business relationship with Canon America, you will develop our business performance in line with our strategic planning via all sales organizations of Canon.

HYBRID WORKSTYLE: This position is full-time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office some days a week, working alongside Canon Organization, mainly at Canon Park in Melville, with an option to work from home the remainder of the week unless a specific business need arises requiring in-office attendance on other days. Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change depending on business requests.

Your Impact

Your key responsibilities:

  1. Develop and establish Canon sales channels in line with our plans for existing and new products and solutions.
  2. Hunt for new Canon sales channels in non-established business relations and create a strong, sustainable business performance.
  3. Develop relationships with key stakeholders at Canon to ensure executive support for sustainable growth.
  4. Ensure maximum utilization of I.R.I.S.’ relevant business in our established business via Canon.
  5. Plan and implement sales programs with Canon Sales organizations.
  6. Develop a 3-year mid-term plan and ensure execution through all sales channels.
  7. Inform all relevant Canon organizations on new technologies, solutions, and products.
  8. Support Canon in advising clients on technical matters.
  9. Provide individual quotations to Canon.
  10. Demonstrate products and solutions.
  11. Support Canon sales reps and analysts in maximizing the use of the products.
  12. Remain proficient in utilizing all B2B channels to achieve goals such as multimedia, webinars, events, and Go2Market strategy for software and solutions.
  13. Manage sales forecasts and own performance.
  14. Support Canon in all I.R.I.S. marketing activities.
  15. Participate in key industry events.
  16. Conduct bi-weekly sales meetings with Canon sales and marketing organization.
  17. Communicate sales progress with the managing director of I.R.I.S. Inc.
  18. Create lab environments for demonstration purposes.
  19. Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and half-year revenue targets.
  20. Conduct ongoing prospecting activities in your Canon territory.
  21. Develop and plan actions to commercialize new products/services into the customer base.
About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring
  • You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, engineering, or business administration, or completed commercial training combined with relevant professional experience in key account management (5 years of professional experience).
  • You have sales experience in the world of software.
  • You have a passion for high-tech and related tools and processes.
  • Exceptional ability to convey ideas clearly across a wide range of internal and external audiences.
  • Requires a high level of professional “inside and outside” salesmanship.
  • You maintain proficient knowledge of CRM and collaboration applications.
  • You bring a high level of motivation to the workplace and are a convincing team member.
  • You have experience in agile working methods.
  • You have a high willingness to travel and excellent self-organization.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and utilize data to make informed business decisions.
  • You can quickly identify distinct business models and their unique drivers.
  • You are result-oriented and adept at dealing with numbers.

We are providing the anticipated base salary range for this role: $65,000 to $85,000. This role is eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan.
