Account Manager, Food & Beverage Manufacturing Sanitation

Overview

Are you a food, beverage, or dairy manufacturing/plant sanitation expert with the ability to drive results for a global Fortune 500 Company? Ecolab’s industry-leading Food & Beverage team is seeking candidates for the Account Manager position. We focus on enhancing food safety, product quality, sustainability, and operational efficiency. We provide cleaning and sanitation solutions to food, beverage, and dairy manufacturing environments through sales and technical service/consultation to both new and existing customers. As strong business partners, Ecolab collaborates with customers to develop sanitation plans, evaluate processes, troubleshoot issues, and identify operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities
  • Understand Ecolab products, plant operations, customer objectives, and regulations.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations on Ecolab’s products and services.
  • Provide industry expertise on sanitation, safety, and quality; assist with sanitation plans, SOPs, process evaluations, operational efficiencies, and employee training.
  • Develop strategic plans for sales and service calls.
  • Communicate effectively across all plant levels; build strong relationships.
  • Manage Ecolab products and equipment, participate in installations, test performance, make adjustments, and monitor inventory.
Position Details
  • Based in Mississauga, Brampton, Guelph, Georgetown, or Toronto.
  • Support the Golden Horseshoe area and surrounding regions within a 2-hour drive.
  • Require 4-6 nights of overnight travel/support per month.
  • Focus on dairy industry accounts.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Post-Secondary Diploma.
  • 2 years’ experience in food, beverage, dairy processing, or manufacturing environment, or technical sales experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience with CIP systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Willingness to work varying hours (1-3 overnights/week).
  • Willingness to travel within the territory and to the US for training/meetings.
  • No immigration sponsorship available.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in dairy, food, agricultural science, quality assurance, engineering, chemistry, biology, or related fields.
  • Mechanical ability.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Competitive drive and initiative.
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
