Account Manager

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Consistently exceed customer expectations when processing orders and answering technical questions while offering value-added solutions to each customer exchange;
  • Research new business opportunities and market Noramco products and services to potential clients;
  • Conduct market research of products and pricing to promote new products; collaborate with teammates in sales transactions;
  • Engage actively with customers in person and use CRM daily to log notes and details.

Duties

  • Perform all functions according to NCS International Co. standards;
  • Coordinate sales and administrative functions, including liaising with operations, providing quotes, opening accounts, maintaining databases, promoting products, handling complaints, scheduling work, ensuring customer service, prospecting new business, staying informed on products and market trends, participating in inventory, and providing backup support;
  • Provide weekly activity reports and monthly market updates.
  • Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel;
  • Sales / Inside Sales experience preferred;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to develop long-term client relationships;
  • Professional approach, organized, detail-oriented;
  • Quick learner of products, capable of preparing quotations and presentations;
  • Knowledge of electrical industry is an asset;
  • Willingness to travel 20-30% of the time.
