We are currently seeking an Account Manager in our Commercial Lines Business Unit. In this role you will help our company succeed and grow by providing exceptional day-to-day service to Commercial Lines clients.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the day-to-day servicing of the book working with clients and our Sales Professionals
  • Review client’s current coverage and exposures, loss experience and analyze risk to determine the product/service requirements
  • Input and update claims and new client information
  • Assist with client inquiries or rush assignments as requested
  • Know customers and fully understand their needs
  • Negotiate with our insuring partners for best solutions for clients risk transfer options
  • Document all communications and interactions with clients, carriers, and others
  • Address insured’s questions and concerns regarding policies, coverage, and premium payments promptly via phone, e-mail, written communication etc.
  • Preparing and forwarding binders for renewals as instructed
  • Manage client accounts receivables

The Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications you'll need to be successful in the role include:

  • Minimum 5 years Commercial Lines experience, either from a brokerage or insurance company preferred
  • R.I.B.O license and/or working towards C.I.P or C.A.I.B designations is an asset
  • Interpersonal, strong communication and listening skills are crucial for this position
  • Driven and results oriented
  • A strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Enjoy being a team player
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
