Position Description

We are recruiting an Account Manager for the Alberta province . As an Account Manager covering Alberta, you are an energetic and motivated self-starter. You enjoy establishing strong relationships with both new and existing clients and following up on leads. As a product expert, you understand what surgeons and their teams need and connect with them on a personal level. You will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities :

  • Accomplish quarterly quota objectives for your assigned territory
  • Manage the full breadth of products in your territory
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships and contacts in assigned accounts
  • Provide the highest levels of support and service to your accounts

Position Requirements

  • 2+ years of medical / surgical device sales experience, including operating room experience.
  • Experience calling on surgeons, OR directors, nurse managers, clinical coordinators, nurse educators, and materials management administrators.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish professional relationships with key decision-makers in operating theatres and procurement departments.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Driven and enthusiastic self-starter with a passion to win.
  • Professional sales experience with formal sales training.
  • Proven goal-oriented, self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial drive.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must live in Alberta, preferably Calgary or Edmonton.
  • CRM knowledgeable.
  • 4-year Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably in business, science or nursing.
  • Must be able to meet third-party credentialing requirements, which may include but are not limited to COVID-19 vaccination.

Other Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Identify opportunities in the market and discuss with management.
  • Supervise market trends, including competitors, device growth and new technologies.
  • Upload contacts, leads and activities in CRM with complete and useful information.
  • Collaborate with teams and areas to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in workshops or congresses when support is requested.
