Managing Partner at Numeracy Accounting Solutions | Tax Strategist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with at least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting. We will provide guidance and training, so we are seeking someone who is eager to learn, adaptable, and growth-oriented. If you have a passion for numbers, organization, and accuracy, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities :

• Manage and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Canadian laws.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll transactions.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian tax laws, GST / HST filings, and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Stay updated on Canadian bookkeeping standards and best practices.
• Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.

Requirements :

• Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Strong understanding of Canadian bookkeeping laws and regulations (GST / HST, payroll, etc.).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in the role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
