Job description

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Account Manager to join our dynamic Regional team. As an Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be customer account development, where you will leverage the capabilities of Landfolio and our professional services to address customer needs. You will oversee the commercial relationship with customers - managing proposals, agreements, and invoicing - while driving growth in annual recurring revenue (ARR). Success in this role will engage customers in a structured cycle of propose, deliver, and support to ensure long-term customer value realization. Your role will focus on maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients (80%) while identifying and developing new business opportunities (20%). Reporting to the Director, Americas, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, including Solution Delivery and Project Management, to deliver tailored solutions and achieve shared success.

Work Arrangement : Hybrid (Remote / Office)

Travel Required : 10 - 15% Domestic and International

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients, understanding their business needs and ensuring they maximize the value of Landfolio and our professional services.
  • Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the existing customer base, including software enhancements and additional service offerings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
  • Engage in solution selling by identifying client challenges and offering tailored combinations of Landfolio software and professional services to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including solution delivery and product management, to align customer requirements with organizational capabilities and ensure successful implementation of customized solutions.
  • Manage the commercial relationship with customers, including drafting proposals, negotiating agreements, and overseeing invoicing processes.
  • Drive growth in annual recurring revenue (ARR) by successfully managing existing accounts and acquiring new customers.
  • Apply a continual value delivery approach to customer success, following a structured cycle of propose, deliver, and support.
  • Create and deliver impactful presentations and proposals showcasing Landfolio’s capabilities, as well as the value of professional services tailored to clients' requirements.
  • Monitor account performance metrics, providing regular updates and insights to both clients and the organization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competing solutions to offer valuable advice and ensure Landfolio remains the preferred choice.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) :

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in English (with proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese or French an asset).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and software (with Pipedrive or Kantata / Mavenlink an asset).
  • Ability to balance account growth through both existing and new customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in solution selling, with a proactive approach to addressing client challenges through tailored software and professional services.
  • Familiarity with land or mineral rights management, other geospatial-based systems or compliance solutions (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of commercial processes, including proposals, agreements, and invoicing.
  • Ability to apply a structured approach of continued value delivery to the customer relationship, focused on customer success.

Experience and Education :

  • Proven experience in account management related to information technology, preferably within software sales or a related field.
  • Experience in solution selling or professional services delivery in B2B or B2G is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology marketing, or an industry related field, or equivalent.

Compensation

The full salary range for this role is $68,000 - $84,000 CAD per year plus benefits. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. The upper half of the salary range is typically reserved for individuals who have demonstrated consistent strong performance in the role and possess a high level of job knowledge and expertise.
