ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY :

McDougall Energy is looking for a customer focused, organized and driven individual for the position of Account Manager within our Commercial Market. Reporting to the Vice President, Commercial & Residential Sales, the Account Manager will ensure an outstanding customer experience is being delivered to new and existing Customers, with an aim toward retention of existing Customers, while supporting the Commercial Sales Team. Located at our Corporate Head Office in Sault Ste. Marie, the position will be responsible for :

  • Managing an assigned group of existing Customer accounts with a strong focus on retention, while ensuring excellent customer service
  • Identifying potential Commercial Customers by phone and arranging appointments for Territory Managers
  • Conducting a targeted number of retention calls each week for an existing Customer base
  • Supporting Territory Managers in achieving key performance indicators for fuel, propane and lubricant sales
  • Supporting Territory Managers by maintaining accurate sales pipelines
  • Working cross functionally with various departments in support of Territory Managers
  • In conjunction with Territory Managers, identify and assist in resolving Customer concerns by providing sound advice and solutions

ABOUT YOU :

  • College Diploma in Marketing, Business or related field
  • Three years’ experience in Sales or Customer service
  • Experience in a computerized Sales’ software environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large volumes of data;
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Superior organization and prioritization skills; committed to deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to shift focus with ease
  • Proficient in working with Microsoft Office; specifically, Excel
  • Strong understanding of Privacy and Confidentiality in the workplace
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships
  • Demonstrated success in living the values of The M.E.I. Way
