Job summary

Nedco, a Rexel Canada division, is seeking an Account Manager based in Peterborough, ON. You will prospect and onboard new accounts, develop strategies to grow sales, conduct weekly visits, and build an opportunity pipeline to meet monthly targets.

You will document all activities in the CRM, coordinate with project, branch and operations teams, and deliver outstanding customer service. Electrical distribution experience is essential and CRM proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience in electrical distribution or equivalent.
• Electrical distribution experience is essential.
• Proven ability to build and maintain productive customer relationships.
• Track record of achieving sales targets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience with CRM systems and documenting activities.

Job Description

As anAccount Managerbased inPeterborough, ON, your essential duties will be to:

• Prospect and onboard new accounts.
• Develop strategies to increase sales growth in the existing customer account base.
• Conduct the required number of weekly account visits to achieve determined account coverage.
• Develop an opportunity pipeline to support monthly sales objectives.
• Attend weekly strategy meetings with the Regional Sales Manager and team meetings when scheduled.
• Ensure all sales activities are properly documented in the company CRM, on an ongoing basis.
• Facilitate industry-leading customer service between project, branch and operational teams.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

What you’ll bring to the table:

• 2-3 years of sales experience within the electrical distribution industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Electrical experience is a must-have.
• Proven ability to build/maintain productive relationships.
• Track record of achieving sales targets.
• Outstanding communication skills, to communicate effectively with all current and prospective customers on a regular basis.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Experience with CRM software.

Additional Information

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is CAD 65000 – 90000. Final compensation within this range will be determined by factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. This range does not include variable pay or other components of Rexel’s total rewards package
