We are currently seeking an Account Manager to join our Ottawa team based in our Ottawa office.

The Account Manager will be responsible for selling Modern Niagara's portfolio, including new service contracts, building controls, retrofits, and energy solutions. Success in this role requires a self-starter with strong HVAC technical experience and strategic sales abilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  1. Prospect and identify new customers, confidently connecting our offerings to their business needs.
  2. Manage and grow financial results for assigned accounts.
  3. Build relationships with decision-makers and operational staff.
  4. Assess capital needs, develop building technology roadmaps, and build relationships throughout organizations.
  5. Generate a sales pipeline using our CRM to report on projected new business.
  6. Participate in industry events, network with decision-makers, and collaborate internally to create opportunities.
  7. Perform needs analysis, qualify opportunities, and develop sales proposals and estimates.
  8. Conduct educational sessions with customers in core vertical markets.
  9. Work with building owners to identify KPIs for installed technology offerings.
  10. Diversify Modern Niagara’s portfolio into alternative vertical markets.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Post-secondary education or trade-related experience.
  • High-performing, driven, and self-motivated individual.
  • Field experience is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Resourceful problem-solver capable of managing multiple priorities.
