The successful incumbent will be based in Surabaya and is responsible for generating profitable sales revenue and increasing operating income by broadening sales coverage, establishing new accounts, and providing total solutions to customers. Maintaining close relationships with customers in assigned industries is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and source new client accounts
  • Achieve sales targets for assigned areas
  • Visit and meet prospective customers to provide services and solicit orders
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance, product training, and after-sales support
  • Prepare demonstrations and technical presentations
  • Negotiate tender, contract terms, and conditions; prepare sales contracts
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and marketing events
  • Prepare sales reports, analyze costs and sales, and handle quotations
  • Collaborate with supply chain, sales support, project engineers, and order fulfillment teams

Pre-requisites

  • Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • At least 2 years of sales experience selling industrial products
  • Knowledge of air compressors and control systems is advantageous
  • Strong team player, self-motivated, customer-oriented
  • Ability to work independently with good communication and presentation skills
  • Understanding of financial metrics such as margin, revenue, overhead costs, profit and loss, and project financials
  • Excellent communication and human relations skills (written and verbal)
