We are seeking an experienced sales professional with a background in renewable energy and data centers to join our Ontario industry sales team as an Account Manager, reporting to the Director of Sales Industry Eastern Region, Canada. This position is based in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Lead Generation: Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling and networking.
  • Sales Targets: Meet annual sales goals within the C&I segment, focusing on renewable energy and data center industries.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts and develop new customer accounts.
  • Sales Strategy: Create and execute sales plans and business development initiatives.
  • Customer Focus: Understand customer needs and propose solutions that address their requirements.
  • Industry Knowledge: Keep informed about industry trends and news to support sales activities.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records in the sales database for pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Collaboration: Work with various business units to deliver value-based solutions to customers.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer delivery issues, escalating as needed.
  • Engagement: Participate in conferences, trade shows, and customer events.

Your background

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or information technology management.
  • Experience: Over 10 years of technical sales experience in a related industry with a proven track record of sales growth.
  • Skills: Strong account management and business development skills, excellent presentation and communication abilities, capable of engaging with senior executives and C-suite leaders.
  • Attributes: Action-oriented, multitasker, continuous learner, adaptable to market changes.
