Clean Harbors in Grande Prairie AB is looking for an Account Manager to join their team!

The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining a client base as well as hunting new business. This role will involve traveling within northern BC and parts of AB.

Compensation will be based on experience and knowledge.

Salary starts at $80,000 annually with a competitive commission structure.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure health and safety are the top priority by following policies and acting safely at all times
  • Promote revenue and margin growth by selling industrial and specialty services to clients
  • Develop new business opportunities with existing and underpenetrated customers through prospecting, quoting, and negotiating solutions
  • Establish industry contacts, maintain activity cadence, and adhere to growth strategies
  • Build strategic account plans to win business from competitors
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by interacting with operations and clients to deliver exceptional service
  • Handle disputes, conflicts, and troubleshoot with clients
  • Manage contracts and relationships effectively
  • Document customer interactions and information, e.g., Salesforce
  • Uphold and exemplify corporate values

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience; sales experience required
  • Ability to develop and execute account plans, prioritize accounts based on key factors
  • Skilled in using numerical analyses to inform decisions
  • Industry and company knowledge, selling and negotiation skills, relationship building
  • Strong communication skills, accountability, and leadership abilities
  • Ability to travel 50%+ within the region
