What's the role?
Our account managers serve as the primary contact for our customers, embodying our purpose to improve construction by being their partner for productivity, safety, and sustainability. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, building a work schedule that suits both you and your customers. Your responsibilities include maintaining customer relationships, demonstrating our latest tools on-site, and providing high-level customer consultation.

What does the role involve?
- Building relationships – meeting with customers on short notice or being present to seize business opportunities. Creating value through long-term, profitable relationships.
- Time and Territory Management (TTM) – creating daily schedules, including presence on job sites and client offices, to optimize client potential and sales productivity by zone territory.
- Be a Hilti Champion – possessing the technical knowledge to provide high-level customer consultations and representing the Hilti brand in the marketplace.
- Tracking your progress – using Salesforce to record interactions and sales activities, as reporting is essential in this role.

What you need is:
- Participation in international travel to the United States for initial training. Visa requirements are your responsibility and must be secured before applying.
- High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least three years of outside sales experience, preferably with targets.
- Hands-on attitude – demonstrating tools, using platforms like Salesforce, and collaborating across departments.
- Valid driver’s license – a company car will be provided, and you must be ready to drive.
- Excellent time and territory management skills.
- Ability to walk on construction sites, climb scaffolding, and lift up to 65 pounds.
