Role Overview

We seek a positive, energetic, knowledgeable individual passionate about marine sales. As part of a collaborative team, Account Managers handle account management, development, and growth within a designated territory or client list. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, sales via phone, strong communication, technical skills, and proficient data entry. The position involves managing sales leads in SFDC, initiating prospect calls, and building ongoing client relationships. Integrity, professionalism, and passion are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage various account types including Enterprise, Relationship, Transactional, and Distributors.
  • Qualify leads through quoting and closing stages.
  • Prepare estimates and quotations for configurable products.
  • Gather customer information via calls, emails, video conferences, or onsite visits.
  • Utilize AdvanTec CRM and estimating tools for sales activities.
  • Maintain day-to-day account management, ensuring customer needs are met and relationships are maintained.
  • Record all sales activities in CRM and manage the sales pipeline.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, engaging with prospective and existing clients.
  • Travel to key accounts as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 3-5 years of marine technical sales and estimating experience.
  • Experience with CRM systems; Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Basic AutoCAD knowledge is an asset.
  • High integrity and positive demeanor.
  • Outgoing personality with enthusiasm.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
