The Role

We are working with an established leader in the construction industry that is expanding into new industry verticals with the launch of a new division. With over 25 years of success in highly regulated and industrial environments, they are looking for a sales-driven Account Manager to help scale operations across Southern Ontario.

This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of a broad territory (Cambridge to Windsor and Niagara to North GTA), focusing on high-growth industries like Food Processing, Manufacturing, Property Management, Pharmaceuticals, and Winery / Brewery Operations.

As the Account Manager, you'll bring a hunter mindset, a love for field-based sales, and a passion for building long-term B2B relationships in industrial environments. You'll be instrumental in developing a new division from the ground up, supported by strong leadership, cross-functional teams, and a clear pathway for advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business across key sectors (food processing, pharma, industrial manufacturing, and more)
  • Cold call, prospect, and book on-site visits with key decision-makers
  • Conduct site walkthroughs, scope projects, and recommend solutions
  • Own your sales pipeline from initial lead through to handoff with project managers
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing B2B clients
  • Serve as a consultative partner, understanding each client's facility needs and offering tailored maintenance solutions
  • Collaborate closely with estimators, operations, and project managers to ensure service excellence
  • Maintain up-to-date activity tracking in Salesforce
  • Attend team huddles and contribute to sales strategy meetings on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
  • Share client feedback and market insights to help shape product and service development

Requirements

  • 23+ years of B2B Sales or Account Management experience (construction, industrial services, or related fields)
  • Proven hunter mentality with confidence in prospecting, cold calling, and closing
  • Strong communication skills and technical curiosity
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
  • Reliable vehicle and valid Driver's license
