Job Title: Account Manager (Independent Contractor, 100% Commission)

Compensation: Commission-based (Up to 70% of billings)

As we continue to grow, we seek an experienced, driven Account Manager/Recruiter to join us as an independent contractor and help us grow our client base in Alberta.

Role Overview:

As an Account Manager/Recruiter with Torus Talent, you will play a pivotal role in growing our operations in Alberta. This commission-based role provides a unique opportunity for a self-motivated, entrepreneurial recruiter to earn up to 70% of placement fees and up to 70% of the margin on contract placements. You will have access to valuable resources, including our candidate database, LinkedIn Recruiter license, and tools to ensure your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with our established national accounts in Alberta.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific recruitment needs and establish trust-based partnerships.
  • Source, screen, and qualify candidates for roles in engineering and construction management, and IT.
  • Drive the full recruitment cycle, from candidate engagement and interview prep to negotiation and placement.
  • Actively build and maintain a network of candidates through various channels, leveraging Torus Talent’s database and LinkedIn Recruiter license.
